The game Phoenix Force presents two contrasting approaches to gameplay: option A, which involves expressing frustration at the perceived unfairness of the game due to one-hit kills and strong enemies with no weak spots, followed by seeking solace from one's mother; or option B, which challenges players to navigate through a storm of bullets and obliterate enemies in a mere 30 seconds, thus proving their prowess as true gamers.

In Phoenix Force, players embody a group of powerful Phoenixes locked in combat against formidable adversaries known as bosses across a staggering 100 levels. Each level is centered around a boss battle, creating intense and fast-paced confrontations with a difficulty level that is guaranteed to test even the most skilled players, potentially reducing some to tears.

The game's narrative unfolds in a distant past, when Earth was ravaged by meteors leading to widespread destruction. From the ashes emerged the Phoenix of Fire, Fury, who discovered a world overrun by monstrous bosses. With the help of other Phoenixes - Cryo of Ice, Tupã of Thunder, Gaia of Earth, and Gast of Ghost - Fury formed the Phoenix Force, their mission being to traverse the continents and vanquish all the bosses in a grueling series of 100 battles.
